Abstract

The economy of Sinjai Regency in 2024, measured based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 15.97 trillion and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 8.83 trillion and GRDP per capita reached IDR 59.07 million.

In terms of production, the largest contribution to GRDP of Sinjai Regency in 2024 is the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Field of 45.45 percent. Then followed by Business Fields category G (Wholesale and Retail Trade; Car and Motorcycle Repair) and category F (Construction) which each have a role in GRDP of Sinjai Regency in 2024 of 13.30 percent and 12.74 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the economy of Sinjai Regency is dominated by the PK-RT component of 55.55 percent and followed by the PMTB component of 39.29 percent and the PK-P component of 9.21 percent. The economy of Sinjai Regency in 2024 compared to 2023 experienced a growth of 5.17 percent. In terms of production, the Other Service Business Field experienced the highest growth of 15.69 percent, followed by the Health Services and Social Activities business field of 12.16 percent, and the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provider business field of 8.97 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the PK-LNPRT component of 18.06 percent; followed by PK-RT of 6.76 percent; and PMTB of 5.68 percent
