Abstract

The number of workers in August 2024 was 151,476 people, an increase of 13,754 people compared to August 2023. In line with the increase in the number of workers, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased by 5.71 percentage points.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 1.52 percent, down 0.17 percentage points compared to August 2023.

The number of employed people was 149,167 people, an increase of 13,779 people from August 2023. The number of employed people in the agricultural sector was 80,446 people or 53.93 percent of the total workers.

A total of 98,548 people (66.07 percent) worked in informal activities, down 4.54 percentage points compared to August 2023.
